The Missouri Tigers will be looking for some revenge against the Colorado Buffaloes. Mizzou dropped their first Big 12 conference game against Colorado, 89-76, last month. Since that loss, Missouri has lost three more and stand just 3-4 in the Big 12. Missouri started the non-conference schedule 14-1 so they've been tapering off since Big 12 play started.
Missouri is seventh in the country in scoring -- better than Colorado -- so this should be a fun offensive game. They're also favored to beat the Buffs by 10 points, even after the loss to Colorado last month.
Colorado could be a dangerous team as they've had some upsets in Big 12 play. They beat Missouri, Kansas State and Oklahoma State, and played Kansas and Baylor to within four points. They're 11th in the country in scoring and 20th in field goal percentage so you know offensively they can hurt you.
Colorado is a dangerous team as Missouri learned earlier this this season. Sophomore Alec Burks scored a whopping 36 points in their last game. It's hard to count on a performance like that twice in a season.
Mizzou definitely needs this victory to avoid a three-game losing skid and avoid limping into the Kansas game. They also need to make sure they're not looking ahead to Monday night's showdown against Kansas. Missouri's two previous games before the losing skid were 33- and 16-point victories so that's the type of game they need to get back to .
This game's at Mizzou Arena and it'll tip-off at 6:30 p.m. Saturday evening.
