2011 Super Bowl: Time, TV Schedule, Prediction, Odds And Announcers For Steelers Vs. Packers

The 2011 Super Bowl is nearly here. We're sitting in Dallas, the location of Super Bowl XLV, as we speak. The Pittsburgh Steelers and Green Bay Packers have been here this week, as have their fans, preparing this moment. It's only a few hours away now.

The Super Bowl time is exactly 5:29 p.m. (CST) and it will be televised on FOX. Your announcers will be Joe Buck and Troy Aikman. NFL odds say the Packers are three point favorites over the Steelers. That line is a little surprising to me since the Steelers have been here twice in the last five years.

My official prediction all week has been the Steelers beating the Packers, 27-24, and that's what I'm going to stick with. This is a hard game to predict because both teams are so similar. They both have high-end quarterbacks that are good escaping the pocket and throwing on the run and they both have outstanding defenses. In the end, though, I gotta with experience and take the Steelers.

It's been a long week in Dallas but we're finally here. Well, almost here. The game is still about four hours away at this point.
