With two outs and a tie game in the bottom of the 11th, second basemen Eric Garcia singled to left, scoring Jonah Schmidt, to give the Tigers the exciting win. Missouri got excellent pitching from Matt Stites and Phil McCormick as they only gave up 1 run on 8 hits.
