NCAA Basketball Rankings: Kansas Stays At No. 2; K-State Joins Top 25

The latest NCAA basketball rankings are out and the AP poll has Ohio State and Kansas in the top two spots once again. Last week both teams were in the same spots and made it through the week unscathed. Ohio State has 52 first place votes, up from 45 last week, and Kansas has 13 first place votes, down from 14 last week.

Pittsburgh, Notre Dame and Duke round out the top five. Pittsburgh oves up from No. 4 last week, Notre Dame from No. 8 last week and Duke falls from No. 4.

North Carolina, San Diego State, BYU, Purdue and Texas round out the top 10. North Carolina is the biggest riser in that group jumping up all the way from No. 13 last week while Texas falls from No. 7.

Kansas State finally makes its way back into the top 25 landing at No. 19. The Wildcats had been due for a spot in the AP poll after their strong six-game winning streak. The Wildcats are going to be a dangerous team in the Big 12 and NCAA tournament because they're playing like they're a top five team.

Falling out of the top 25 is Missouri, who was ranked No. 22 last week. The Tigers fall is no surprise after they've lost three consecutive games to end the regular season.
