Last night’s cancelled game between the Kansas CIty Royals and Detroit Tigers has been rescheduled for Thursday, September 1st, turning a late three-game series in the season into a four-game season with no break between series.
↵The 12:05 start time will give the Royals players some reprieve after the game to get back to KC, but the grind of a season can kick into high gear at that point. Perhaps a younger team like the Royals will hold up well even with late season dynamics in place, but only time will tell.
