Former Twins Great Harmon Killebrew Passes At Age 74

According to a Fox television affiliate in Minneapolis, former Minnesota Twins great and Major League Baseball Hall of Fame member Harmon Killebrew has passed away this morning at the age of 74.

Though known mostly for his career with the Minnesota Twins, he played his final season with the Kansas City Royals in 1975. In his only season with Kansas City, he batted .199 with 14 home runs and 44 RBI. For his career he hit 573 home runs.

Just last week it was announced that “Killer” was going into hospice care as he decided to end his battle with cancer.
