Danica Patrick, Graham Rahal, Paul Tracy Among Late Qualifiers For Indy 500

It was quite the topsy-turvy day for late qualifier Danica Patrick, who bumped her way into the field of 33 for next weekend’s 100th Anniversary of the Indianapolis 500. After enduring two rain delays, the fear was that Patrick got pushed back in the field too far to make it, but she ended up qualifying with a four lap average of 224.861 — the second fastest time on the day.

The fastest laps of the day were ran by Paul Tracy, who became the first of nine total qualifiers to round out the field. Tracy came in at 224.939 and bumped teammate Mike Conway out of the field. Other qualifiers include T Ryan Briscoe, Marco Andretti, Charlie Kimball, Graham Rahal, Alex Lloyd, Pippa Mann and Ana Beatriz.
