Former Royals Hurler Zack Greinke Loses National League Debut

Former Royals ace Zack Greinke took the loss for the Milwaukee Brewers last night in his first stint since the trade that sent him over for several Brewers prospects this off-season. Greinke had good movement as illustrated by six strikeouts, but he left enough hanging in the zone to surrender multiple extra-base hits, including a homer to Nate McLouth.

Greinke is just now making his return after being out the first month of the season due to a rib injury from an off-season pick-up basketball game. The Brewers are counting on Greinke and other AL arrival Shawn Marcum from the Blue Jays to make a run at the NL Central title.
