It’s an amount that makes you shake your head: 35 college bowl games will be played in 2011/12 over 23 days next winter, culminating in the Allstate BCS National Championship Game on January 9 in New Orleans.
The official release came today with the official list of all BCS Bowl Games as well as the announcement that New Year’s Day would be avoided because of the NFL’s closing day of regular season games on that Sunday. The games pick up on January 2nd instead with the Rose Bowl.
