On Monday afternoon, USC was stripped of their 2004 National Championsip in football by the Bowl Championship Series (BCS).

At the close of the season, USC has handily defeated Oklahoma 55-19 in the Orange Bowl.

While I am glad the BCS did something, after the fact it doesn’t mean much to me or anyone else. The season won’t be played over, and no other tham will be receiving the thrill of winning a National Title for that season. The only thing coming out of it is USC can no longer be called National Champions for the 2004 season.
