↵With the 51st overall selection, the Yankees selected Dante Bichette Jr, a high school third basemen from Florida, the son of former Rockies slugger Dante Bichette. Said to have a great makeup, it’s always fun to follow sons of former major league players.
↵Just two picks later, the Blue Jays chose high school outfielder Dwight Smith Jr from Georgia. Smith is the son of the former Chicago Cubs outfielder of the same name.
