With the 51st overall selection, the Yankees selected Dante Bichette Jr, a high school third basemen from Florida, the son of former Rockies slugger Dante Bichette. Said to have a great makeup, it’s always fun to follow sons of former major league players.â†µ
Just two picks later, the Blue Jays chose high school outfielder Dwight Smith Jr from Georgia. Smith is the son of the former Chicago Cubs outfielder of the same name.â†µ
