Brock Berglund has been a bit of a mystery man since arriving in Lawrence this past January. First he left to continue classes at home in Colorado during the Spring. His second departure came just days after arriving in Lawrence for summer classes leading to speculation that he might not suit up as a Jayhawks.
At the end of the day this is a story that might not be resolved until August or even a year from now but the soon to be Jayhawk seems to have hit another snag in getting his college career off the ground.
It was reported on Wednesday that Berglund has been charged with assault in his home state of Colorado. Turner Gill released a statement acknowledging the issue and stating that Kansas will deal with it internally.
"We are aware of the situation involving Brock Berglund. We are going to let the legal process run its course. We will also handle it appropriately internally here at KU."
