It wasn’t clear until now just how much the Kansas City Chiefs paid Casey Wiegmann to come back and anchor the middle of the offensive line, but Sirius NFL host Adam Caplan is reporting that it’s a one-year deal worth $2.5 million. That’s a price worth paying with money to spend to provide the Chiefs offense with experience in the middle as well as a solid transition for Rodney Hudson.
