Broadcaster Set To Announce Lansing Lugnuts Minor League Game Without Seeing The Actual Game

On Tuesday evening Jesse Goldberg-Strassler is set to announce a minor league baseball game much like the old timers used to do.

Goldberg-Strassler will be calling the game for the Toronto Blue Jays affiliate without actually seeing it.

From behind a wall, the broadcaster will truly be painting the picture of the game between the Lansing Lugnuts and Dayton Dragons.

Assisted by props, Goldberg-Strassler will be relying on information provided by others and creating the ambiance of the typical ballpark noises all by himself, much like the first broadcasters did many years ago.

Unlike decades past, fans across the world will be able to tune in and listen to the baseball game via the internet on Big 92.1. The game can be heard Tuesday evening at 6:05 CST.
