Colts Owner Jim Irsay Says Peyton Manning Has 'Another 3 Or 4 Years' Of Greatness

If anyone subscribes to Jim Irsay’s Twitter feed, well it’s always interesting to say the least. Usually it’s a series of odd characters that come with fat fingers or song lyrics, but today Irsay tweeted something coherent and quite direct addressing Peyton Manning’s future.

Specifically, Irsay wrote, “Peyton’s gonna heal n have 3 or 4 years of a final period of greatness,we’re gonna host an amazing Sup Bow,we’re gonna improve n play better.” For those who haven’t seen previous Twitter messages, trust me when I say this looks like the PR department got ahold of it before sending it out.

Suffice to say, Irsay is surely thinking positively and wanting to help bolster the fan base, but it is ridiculous to think that this couldn’t happen. Manning is the ultimate competitor and this injury is something that any athlete can come back from if rehabbed properly. There should be no doubt that Manning will not only be back but will rise again to the top echelon of the quarterback position.
