The Memphis Grizzlies put up a fight before falling 100-95 to Russell Westbrook and the Oklahoma City Thunder. The win was Oklahoma City's fourth consecutive and improves their Western Conference leading record to 9-2.
Westbrook finished with a game-high 30 points, six rebounds and four assists. Kevin Durant played 43 minutes and added 22 points and 11 rebounds. Thabo Sefolosha and James Harden round out Thunder players in double figures with 12 and 10 points each.
Marc Gasol did all he could to try and keep the Grizzlies within striking distance finishing with 20 points, 14 boards and five blocks. Rudy Gay scored 16 points but had a tough shooting night going 7-21 and just 1-5 from the free throw line. Mike Conley and O.J. Mayo finished with 15 and 12 points respectively. Conley also chipped in a game-high 10 assists in the loss.
Oklahoma City will look to extend their winning streak to five games tomorrow when they take on the New Orleans Hornets.
