Sporting KC announced today that local Leawood native Seth Sinovic is re-signing with the team to keep him local for a while longer. Terms of the contract were not disclosed, as per the team’s norm, but it’s clear Sinovic wanted to stay.
"I am really excited about my future with this club," said Sinovic in a release. "I’m happy that Sporting Kansas City has committed to keeping me around for years to come and I’m eager to start the upcoming season."
“Sinovic, 24, joined Sporting Kansas City in May 2011 en route to making 23 appearances in Sporting Kansas City’s run to the Eastern Conference Championship match. He was then selected by the Montreal Impact in the 2011 Expansion Draft last November but was re-acquired by Sporting Kansas City five days later in a trade between the two clubs.”
