Oklahoma City took a 29-12 lead at the end of the first quarter over the Detroit Pistons and eventually cruised home to a 99-79 win.
James Harden and Russell Westbrook each scored 24 points to lead the Thunder. Harden hit 8-11 shots and 5-6 from three-point range to pace Oklahoma City's hot shooting. Westbrook made 11-17 shots and also handed out a team-high six assists in the game. Kevin Durant hit 9-13 attempts to finish with 20 points in just 29 minutes of action.
Rookie Brandon Knight led the Pistons with 13 points. Rodney Stuckey and Greg Monroe each finished with 12 while Jonas Jerebko came off the bench to add 11. Monroe also finished with seven rebounds but was just 3-14 from the field in the game.
