Kevin Durant can't miss, and Serge Ibaka is well on his way to his first double-double of the season as the host Oklahoma City Thunder lead the New Orleans Hornets 60-51 at halftime.
Durant connected on all five of his field goal attempts, and was a perfect 6-6 from the line to lead the Thunder with 16 first half points. Ibaka already has 14 points on the evening, just two shy of his season-high, and he cleaned up the glass with seven rebounds, including three offensive.
New Orleans G Jarrett Jack has 16 first half point of his own, and the surprising F Gustavo Ayon added eight points and two boards.
New Orleans is once again without star G Eric Gordon, who remains sidelined with a knee injury. The centerpiece of the trade that sent Chris Paul from New Orleans to Los Angeles, Gordon has played in just two games with the Hornets.
