Missouri's Frank Haith Said Team Didn't Have Proper Focus Against Oklahoma State

The top of the Big 12 conference standings has a bit more breathing room now that Missouri has fallen unexpectedly in a road upset at Oklahoma State. The Cowboys took out the Tigers earlier tonight in a 79-72 win that gives OSU a big win for their own resume and takes the wind out of the sails of the upstart Tigers team that had the entire nation talking about them.

Missouri has been the story of the season so far, with Coach of the Year talk for Frank Haith in his first year following Mike Anderson. The big win over Baylor solidified their place near the top of the college basketball rankings, but that takes a bit of a hit today with the loss to the Cowboys. Frank Haith said after the game that focus was the issue.

“Our focus was not where it needed to be to win a game like this on the road,” he told Eric Blumberg.

Up next for the Tigers is Texas Tech on Saturday.
