Kevin Durant dropped 25 points on just 13 shots, and James Harden came off the bench to punch in 18 of his own for the Northwest Division-leading Thunder.
G Russell Westbrook was held to 14 points on the night, and turned the ball over seven times. Turnovers continue to ail the 23-year old, who was recently inked to a five-year mega extension to remain with Oklahoma City.
The Hornets, who played without G Eric Gordon and C Chris Kaman, were led by PG Jarrett Jack, who put up 20 points on 6-14 shooting. PF Carl Landry hit all 11 of his free throw attempts, but the Hornets drop to 3-15 on the season, last in the Western Conference.
