Sixteen Big 12 Players On Senior Bowl Rosters As South Downs North

Sixteen players from Big 12 schools were on the rosters of the North and South teams in the Senior Bowl on Saturday in Mobile, Ala., won by the South 23-13.

Missouri tight end Michael Egnew pulled in a 14-yard pass for the North squad and Brand Weeden of Big 12 champion Oklahoma State started at quarterback for the victorious South team.

Texas A&M led all Big 12 teams with five Aggies selected for the game, considered one of the top college all-star games attended by pro scouts. Two A&M players, defensive back Coryell Judie and quarterback Ryan Tannehill, did not participate, however, due to injuries.

Texas, Texas A&M,, Oklahoma State and Baylor had three players each selected to Senior Bowl rosters, all on the South squad.

Four players from Oklahoma, Iowa State and Missouri were on the North roster.
