Kadeem Green Announces Intent To Transfer From Missouri Tigers Basketball Program

With the amount of hype and praise for the job that Frank Haith is doing with the roster he inherited at Missouri from former head coach Mike Anderson, it’s a reality check to remember that not every system is going to work for every player. That much is clear with the announcement from forward Kadeem Green that he will seek a transfer away from the Tigers basketball program.

The reasons for Green leaving are not clear at this time, but what is certain is that while Haith’s team is currently 13-0 and No. 6 in the nation in the most recent USA Today basketball poll, the move will leave the Tigers even smaller than they already were. Green has played in 11 games this season, earning just over 10 minutes of playing time per game. His averages in that span are 3 points and 3 rebounds. The 6-8 forward will leave Haith even smaller underneath than the team already was without injured forward Laurence Bowers.
