Eric Maynor Injury: Thunder Point Guard Out For Remainder Of Season

The Oklahoma City Thunder have announced that back up point guard Eric Maynor will miss the remainder of the season after suffering a torn ACL in Saturday's game.

Eric Maynor left Saturday night's win against Houston in the fourth quarter after suffering an apparent knee injury. Oklahoma City's worst fears were confirmed on Sunday as the team has announced the Maynor will miss the remainder of the season with a torn ACL in his right knee.

As the back up point guard, Maynor was averaging just over 15 minutes a night and 4.2 points and 2.4 assists per game this season. Rookie Reggie Jackson will likely step into the majority of Maynor's minutes for the remainder of the season.

Jackson was selected by the Thunder with the No. 24 pick in the first round of the 2011 draft out of Boston College. He has played in three regular season games this season and is averaging 2.3 points per game.
