The Chase for the Sprint Cup championship hits its sixth stop Sunday afternoon when NASCAR drivers tackle Kansas Speedway for the second time this season. Points leader Brad Keselowski looks to keep a hold of his slim seven-point lead over Jimmie Johnson and 15-point lead over Denny Hamlin.
According to Sporting News, Johnson and Hamlin are equal favorites to win the Hollywood Casino 400, each listed at 5-to-1 odds. Keselowski isn't far behind at 8-to-1.
The 1½-mile speedway plays into Hamlin's favor, according to Sporting News. Hamlin's win at Kansas Speedway earlier this season in April, as well as a win on Atlanta's similar track gives him a big edge. Johnson, meanwhile, won last fall's race and has finished well on 1½s all season. Two of Keselowski's five wins this season have come on 1½s.
Kansas native Clint Bowyer will be motivated to win at his hometown track, and not just because he's fourth in the Chase, 28 points behind Keselowski. He's listed as a 15-to-1 favorite.
