The Oklahoma City open their 7-game preseason schedule on the road Oct. 10 in Houston before wrapping it up with the Dallas Mavericks on Oct. 24 in Wichita, Kansas.
Also on tap for the Thunder in the preseason: at Utah on Oct. 12, home against the Charlotte Bobcats on Oct. 16, home against the Phoenix Suns on Oct. 19, home against the Denver Nuggets on Oct. 21, and on the road against the Chicago Bulls on Oct. 23. The Thunder open the regular season on the road Nov. 1 against the San Antonio Spurs. Oklahoma City opened camp on Monday.
There are a few story lines to watch this preseason for Thunder fans, notably how the team may or may not have signed James Harden to an extension by the time the season starts, and the deadline to do so is Oct. 31. If no deal is reached, the star sixth man will be a restricted free agent after the season and the Thunder coud lose him to a max offer from another team.
