The Oklahoma St. Cowboys have seized complete control of their contest against the Iowa St. Cyclones as they lead 24-10 after three quarters.
The Cyclones have not scored since late in the first quarter as the Cowboys have scored the last 17 points, including a 12-yard touchdown run by running back Joseph Randle with 9:32 remaining in the third quarter that made it 24-10 Cowboys.
J.W. Walsh continues to have a statistically dominant game with 394 yards passing and one touchdown plus an additional 29 yards rushing for good measure.
Both teams fumbled late in the third quarter after very short-lived drives as the game has turned into a defensive struggle aside from Randle's touchdown.
Iowa State's Jared Bennett has 206 yards passing with one touchdown and one interception plus 49 yards rushing but he isn't getting much help from his teammates.
A Cowboys win would give the Cowboys a 5-2 record.
