Caroline Jarmoc tallied 23 kills to lead the Kansas volleyball team to a 3-1 win over TCU Saturday at the Horejsi Center in Lawrence, Kans. The Jayhawks defeated the Horned Frogs, 25-21, 25-20, 22-25, 25-19.
The win extended Kansas's (19-3, 7-1 Big 12) school-record home winning streak to 12 games. The Jayhawks haven't lost at home this season and have won eight of their last nine matches. Kansas is ranked No. 21 in the AVCA Coaches' Poll and is 13th in the RPI.
Erin McNorton compiled 52 assists and eight digs for Kansas, while Brianne Riley had 15 digs. Sara McClinton had 17 kills for the Jayhawks.
TCU (13-8, 2-6) has lost six straight since winning its first two Big 12 matches. Sloane Sunstrum was one of three Horned Frogs with 10 kills, and she added nine digs. Mattie Burleson and Stephanie Holland also had 10 kills. Meghan Horio led the way with 12 digs, and Megan Munce had 25 assists.
Next up for Kansas is a road date against No. 21 Iowa State. The Jayhawks and Cyclones meet at 6:30 p.m. CT on Wednesday, Oct. 24.
