The landscape of the AP Top 25 is primed for change as the No. 5 Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the No. 8 Oklahoma Sooners square off in Week 9. The Sooners are 12-point favorites to knock off the undefeated Irish, according to Oddsshark.com.
Notre Dame (7-0) is coming off a surprisingly close 17-14 win against BYU in Week 8, and after the narrow victory oddsmakers think the Irish's perfect season will come to an end in Norman on Saturday night.
Oklahoma (5-1, 3-1 Big 12) is coming off impressive wins against then-No. 15 Texas in Week 7 and the Kansas Jayhawks in Week 8. The potent Sooners offense will have a tough battle against the stingy defense of the Irish which is the second best in the nation in points allowed, surrendering just 9.4 points per game.
The over/under is currently set at 48.
Kickoff for Saturday's game is scheduled for 7 p.m. CT and the game will be televised on ABC.
