The Kansas State Wildcats look to keep their Big 12 and BCS title hopes alive against the Oklahoma State Cowboys

Kansas State is hoping to keep its dream season alive on Saturday, when it hosts the Oklahoma State Cowboys.

While the Cowboys are not as talented as they were last season, they still have a talented team that could pose an upset threat for the Wildcats. Oklahoma State is 5-2 on the season and 3-1 in conference, with losses at Arizona and home versus Texas. Kansas State is the first game in a tough four-week stretch for the 24th-ranked team, as they face West Virginia, Texas Tech and Oklahoma the following three weeks.

The Cowboys' offense has been electric this season, as they have the ability to move the ball on the ground and in the air. Oklahoma State is sixth in the nation in passing offense, and 13th in the nation in rushing offense. That combination is good for sixth in points scored matching up against the Wildcats' 13th-ranked defense.

The Oklahoma State defense will face its stiffest challenge of the season against Collin Klein and the fifth-ranked Kansas State offense. The Cowboy defense is allowing only 23.1 points per game, but they surrendered 59 and 41 points against Arizona and Texas. Kansas State should have plenty of scoring opportunities if they continue to play at the level they have this season.
