After dropping their final three games of the regular season to the Arkansas Razorbacks, LSU Tigers and the Texas A&M Aggies, the Missouri Tigers women's soccer team advanced to the semifinals of the SEC Tournament to face the top-seeded Florida Gators.
The Tigers advanced to the semifinal meeting with Florida after beating the Kentucky Wildcats 2-1 Wednesday. Haley Krentz scored her third goal of the season to give the Tigers a 1-0 lead in the 26th minute. Less than two minutes later, Krentz assisted on Alyssa Diggs' eighth goal of the year as Mizzou extended its lead to 2-0. Caitlin Landis would score her fourth goal of the season for Kentucky in the 73rd minute, but the Wildcats would get no closer.
The Tigers will kick off against the Gators at 6:30 p.m. CT. The game will be aired on ESPN3. If Missouri advances past Florida, they'll face the winner of the Texas A&M-Auburn semifinal.
