Both teams are undefeated through six Conference USA games. Tulsa sits at 8-2 overall and is undefeated in games against non-BCS conference opponents. The Golden Hurricane are heavily reliant on a running attack led by halfbacks Ja'Terian Douglas and Trey Watts, who have combined for 1,453 rushing yards and nine touchdowns on the year. Quarterback Cody Green has thrown for 10 touchdowns, with half of those going to sophomore wide receiver Keyarris Garrett.
Like Tulsa, Central Michigan is 8-2 and undefeated against non-BCS conference opposition.
