With a chance for both teams to make an early-season statement, the Oklahoma City Thunder and Los Angeles Clippers will meet for a big Western Conference contest Wednesday at Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City.
The Thunder and Clippers currently sit atop their respective divisions. Oklahoma City is in first place in the Northwest, and Los Angeles holds the top spot in the Pacific. ESPN's NBA coverage will show Wednesday's game to a national audience.
Before facing the Thunder, the Clippers must deal with another stiff challenge in the San Antonio Spurs Monday night. On Tuesday, the Los Angeles Lakers will try to build some momentum in a contest with the Brooklyn Nets at the Staples Center in LA. The Lakers are currently toiling in third place in the Pacific, while the Nets are in second place in the Atlantic.
