The Kansas City Chiefs are at the absolute bottom of the latest SB Nation Power Rankings, taking the not-so-coveted 32nd slot.
The new spot represents a drop from last week's Power Rankings, when Kansas City held the 31st spot in the rankings. That was before Cincinnati shellacked the Chiefs 28-6. SB Nation NFL Editor Joel Thorman put the state of things succinctly, writing, "This team gets blown out more than anyone else."
The Chiefs (1-9) have still only held a lead two times in the 2012 season. Things don't look to get much better when they host the AFC West-leading Denver Broncos (7-3) at Arrowhead Stadium at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
ESPN's power rankings, as well as those of NBC/ProFootballTalk's Mike Florio, also have the Chiefs dead last in the league. But Kansas City fans can take a small (okay, tiny) amount of cheer from the CBS Power Rankings: the Chiefs are ranked 31st.
