The Oklahoma City Thunder are hoping to pick up their fourth straight win on Friday night as they travel to the TD Garden to face the Boston Celtics.
The Celtics are displeased with their defensive performance so far this season, as the team normally prides itself on playing some of the toughest defense in the league. The Celtics currently rank 27th in the NBA in defensive field-goal percentage after leading the league in that department last season. Boston also surrendered over 100 points in two straight losses, coming against the San Antonio Spurs and the Detroit Pistons.
Oklahoma City superstar Kevin Durant aims to take advantage of the struggling Celtics defense. Durant scored a season-high 35 points Wednesday in the Thunders' 117-111 victory over the Clippers. Durant is currently second in the league in scoring.
Neither team is missing any key contributors, so both teams should be motivated and ready to play Friday night.
