Kansas vs. Texas Tech odds: Red Raiders Favored By 24

Texas Tech is favored to defeat the Kansas Jayhawks by 24 points on Saturday morning in Texas.

The 1-8 Kansas Jayhawks go on the road to face the No. 20 Texas Tech Red Raiders (8-1) on Saturday morning at 11 a.m. CT, and the opening line couldn't scare gamblers any more. The Red Raiders have opened up as 24-point favorites for Saturday's game.

After winning their first game of the season against South Dakota State, the Jayhawks have gone on to lose eight games in a row. Many of those games were close, but the ones against ranked opponents have been blowouts for the most part (56-16 loss to Kansas state and 52-7 to Oklahoma). This is the one reason that people may bet on Texas Tech to not only win, but to cover the three-plus touchdown spread. Another reason people may bet on the Red Raiders to cover such a large spread is due to the fact that the two teams have played seven times since 2000 and the Jayhawks have only won one of those games, having now lost five in a row.

The game will be played in Lubbock, Texas and will be broadcast on FSN.
