Missouri Tigers point guard Phil Pressey has been placed on the 2013 Bob Cousy Collegiate Point Guard of the Year Award watch list.
Pressey was a finalist for the award last season, so it comes as no surprise that the talented point guard again found his way on the award watch list this year.
The watch list currently has over 80 candidates, but Pressey joins Peyton Siva, Aaron Craft and Trey Burke as favorites to win the award. Craft was also a finalist for the award last season, which was won by Kendall Marshall.
Pressey has been one of the key players for the Tigers so far this season, scoring the second-most points at 12.3 points per game while leading the team with 5.8 assists per game. Missouri is 9-1 on the season, and currently ranked No. 12 in the AP Poll.
Pressey and the Tigers' next game is Saturday against No. 10 Illinois.
