Kansas vs. Ohio State preview: Game time, TV schedule and more

The Kansas Jayhawks face their toughest opponent of the season on Saturday as they travel to Columbus, OH to take on the Ohio St. Buckeyes.

The No.9 Kansas Jayhawks will play in their first true road game of the season on Saturday as they travel to Value City Arena to take on the No. 7 Ohio St. Buckeyes.

Ohio St. enters the game at 9-1 on the season, with their only loss coming on the road against the Duke Blue Devils.

The Buckeyes should be plenty motivated when they host the Jayhawks, as the Big Ten team lost twice against Kansas last season, including a 64-62 defeat in the Final Four.

Ohio St. is led by junior forward Deshaun Thomas, who averages 20 points and seven rebounds per game. Thomas is a difficult match-up for the Jayhawks, as he is a strong outside shooter. Thomas makes 41 percent of his shots from behind the arc, and 86 percent of his free throw attempts.

Kansas ball-handlers will need to take care of the ball against the Buckeyes, as Aaron Craft and Shannon Scott both are high-pressure defenders. Craft averages 1.7 steals per game, while Scott averages 2.5.

Game time: Saturday, Dec. 22; 3 p.m. CT

Location: Value City Arena; Columbus, OH

TV: CBS
