Chiefs vs. Broncos injury report: Illness sweeps Kansas City locker room

Numerous Chiefs players have missed time in practice this week due to illness.

Charles LeClaire-US PRESSWIRE

As if things weren't going bad enough for the Kansas City Chiefs in 2012, their preparations for a Week 17 matchup with the Denver Broncos have been interrupted by a flu bug sweeping the locker room.

Many players have missed time in practice due to the sickness being spread, including Jamaal Charles, Tamba Hali, Cory Greenwood and Donald Stephenson. Charles and Hali both practiced with the team fully Thursday after missing Wednesday's practice. Greenwood and Stephenson both missed practice completely Thursday.

Other injuries the Chiefs have seen include wide receiver Josh Bellamy being limited Thursday with an ankle injury. Defensive back Eric Berry has been able to overcome a hand injury to practice fully on both Wednesday and Thursday.

A full list of the latest injuries from the Chiefs can be found here.

The Chiefs will take to the road to face the Denver Broncos in their regular-season finale. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:25 p.m. CT.
