The Kansas State Wildcats will look to build off their upset win over the Florida Gators on Saturday when they take on an overmatched UMKC Kangaroos squad in Bramlage Coliseum.
UMKC is 4-8 on the season, and have struggled against ranked and BCS opponents. UMKC has played three ranked opponents and five teams from BCS school's this season, and have lost all of those games. The Kangaroos have never defeated a ranked opponent in school history, and last beat a BCS school in 2003, a 93-52 victory against Kansas St. in Kansas City.
If UMKC has any chance for a win, they will need to sink a lot of three-point shots against the tough Wildcat defense. The 'Roos have made 10 three-point shots in back-to-back games, and will need to stay hot to keep this game competitive. UMKC is led by sophomore point guard Estan Tyler, who leads the team with 29.5 minutes per game, and scored a career high 17 points earlier this season against the Iowa St. Cyclones.
Game Time: Saturday, Dec. 29; 6 p.m. CT
Location: Bramlage Coliseum; Manhattan, KS
TV: Fox Sports Midwest
