Russell Westbrook to debut Jordan XX8's vs. Nets

The Thunder point guard will debut a new shoe in the team's match-up with the Nets tonight.

As if the game featuring two of the NBA best teams in the Big Apple wasn't interesting enough, Russell Westbrook will be making a big fashion statement during the game. Westbrook will not only run the point for the league's beat offense, he'll do it while debuting the new Jordan XX8's in the Oklahoma City Thunder's game against the Brooklyn Nets.

The shoes will certainly make a big splash. Devoid of any laces, the top of the shoe looks like it will come up above Westbrook's ankle, resembling the high-tops of yesteryear. Westbrook is a member of Jordan Brand so it's no surprise he'll be debuting Air Jordan's latest kicks. The company has always been known for going big when it comes to designing a new shoe and the XX8 looks to be no exception.

If you'd like to see the brand new XX8's in action on the feet of Westbrook, the Thunder tipoff with the Nets at 6:30 p.m. CT on NBA TV or FS Oklahoma.
