The Kansas Jayhawks men's and women's basketball teams are supporting Toys for Tots donations with collections at a pair of games in December.
The collections will start on Dec. 15 in the men's game against Belmont and remain in place for the women's game the following day. Fans who donate a new unwrapped toy at the women's game against Prairie View A&M will earn free entry.
Douglas County Toys for Tots collected and handed out more than 8,700 toys last year.
Both the men's and women's team are ranked this season with the men at No. 10 and the women at No. 20. The men are 6-1 overall with the lone loss coming to Michigan State in the State Farm Champions Classic.
The women, meanwhile, have yet to drop a game and hold a perfect 7-0 record. Six of their wins have come by double-digits, including a dominating 101-47 victory over Grambling State.
