Royals Fans Got Talent Brings Out One Hundred For Auditions

Every baseball game provides at least a couple of singers the chance to display their goods for the crowd at hand, and Major League Baseball obviously provides the sport’s biggest stage. Thus it’s not surprising that so many — more than 100 — turned out for the third annual Royals Fans Got Talent competition advertised on the team’s website.

Earlier in the week, this posting was placed at Royals.com:

Warm up those vocal cords, Kansas City! The Royals are hosting another year of Royals Fans Got Talent performance auditions and are seeking talented performers for the National Anthem and 7th Inning Stretch. All bands, choirs, groups, musicians, and individual singers are invited to showcase their talent on February 11th, 2012 from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Kauffman Stadium. Auditions will be conducted in a first come, first served format for those who arrive during the specified time frame.

Yet fans can still send in audition tapes if they follow the instructions on the website. Even if you missed it, you can still try to get in this season to sing the National Anthem.
