The scoring spree continues for the Oklahoma City Thunder as both Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook each score 31 points in the 101-93 win over the New Orleans Hornets. The Thunder ran off to a commanding 22-point lead at the half and then relaxed in the second half as the Hornets made a modest attempt at a comeback.
Westbrook and Durant for the second straight night scored more than two-thirds of their teams total points, and on Monday they were the only two players to score in double figures. The two also were able to shoot the ball to get to their 31 points as both shot just above 50 percent from the field.
The Hornets were able to comeback in the second half by having five players score in double figures with Jarrett Jack leading the Hornets with 18 points, but the 22-point first half deficit was too much to overcome.
