Defending Big 12 Indoor Track & Field champion Texas A&M is hoping to repeat its men’s and women’s indoor titles at the conference indoor championships this weekend in College Station, Texas. The nationally third-ranked Aggie men are favored to take home another men’s title, their second in league history, and the No.5-ranked Aggie women and seventh-ranked Kansas Jayhawk women are the co-favorites on the women’s side.
The Big 12 has four men’s teams (A&M, Texas, Kansas State and Oklahoma) and five women’s teams (A&M, Kansas, Texas, Texas Tech and Iowa State) ranked in the top 25 in the nation in the most recent poll by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
