NBA All-Star Three-Point Contest: Kevin Durant Falls To Kevin Love In Finals

Oklahoma City Thunder's Kevin Durant is participating in the three-point contest and he had a good showing in the first round and scored 20 points, which was second place to the 2011 defending champion James Jones who put up an impressive 22 points. Minnesota Timberwolves Kevin Love and the Miami Heat's Mario Chalmers both tied for third and Love was able to edge out Chalmers in the 24 second tie-breaker round.

In the final round defending champion Jones had a terrible 10 points while Love and Durant tied and went to a tie-breaker round. Love made 16 points and Durant scored 14 points in the extra frame and missed the money ball in his attempt to tie Love. This was Durant's second lost in the three-point contest.
