According to Bovada, Dale Earnhardt Jr and Jimmy Johnson are still the favorites to win the 2012 Daytona 500 with 10/1 odds. Earnhardt Jr will start in the fifth position while Johnson is a few cars back in the eighth spot. Both Johnson and Earnhardt opened as favorites and have maintained their position throughout speed weeks.
They are followed by Carl Edwards, Jeff Gordon, Kevin Harvick, Kyle Busch and Tony Stewart who are all 12/1 odds to win the race. Edwards will start the 500 from the pole on Sunday.
