Raindrops keep falling on SB Nation's Jeff Gluck's head. Gluck is in Daytona and gave an update on the inclement situation at Daytona International Speedway.
Totally raining. Totally a bummer. At the very least, Daytona 500 will be delayed a few hours. Rain now means it cannot start on time.

The weather has been seen as an issue for a few days now, as Gluck along with Brian Neudorff have made note of the weather situation since yesterday. Neudorff noted that there would be a 70 percent chance that today's race would start on Sunday night or on Monday.
The rain is projected to keep falling throughout the rest of the evening. The hope is that things will improve during the evening and the fans could be afford a Daytona 500 race under the lights. If The 500 ends up starting on Monday, it will be the first time in the event's history that it would start on that day.
