The "Great American Race" was postponed for the first time in its history on Sunday due to steady, heavy rains in the Daytona Beach area. Now it's looking like the race's rescheduled start time will be moved again.

With NASCAR scheduled to race a Sprint Cup event in Phoenix this coming weekend, any delays past Monday night could prove to be a huge crunch on time for teams participating in both races. Just as the 500 has never been postponed by a full day, its also never started the race "under the lights," which is beginning to look like the strongest possibility of finishing the race before Tuesday.
