To say that the Texas Longhorn men dominate swimming and diving in the Big 12 would be a gross understatement.
↵Over the past weekend, the Longhorns captured their 16th consecutive conference championship and 33rd in succession dating back to the former Southwest Conference. Meanwhile, the Texas A&M women won the crown over Texas in the other division.
↵Texas took over the lead in the team standings on Day 2 and poured it on from there. The Longhorns swept all the the day’s events in three of the four days, including the final day.
↵For A&M, it was their fourth conference championship in swimming and diving in the past six years.
↵Missouri, the host for the four-day event, finished third in both the men’s and women’s divisions. Kansas was fourth on the women’s side.
